Game 1: T1 explodes with a snowballing strategy

Gen.G chose the blue side and drafted a strong laning phase composition with Gwen and Sivir. Meanwhile, T1 prioritized top lane control with the trio of Aurora, Trundle, and Ryze. With an early proactive strategy, T1 quickly gained a 2,000 gold lead after 15 minutes.

Gen.G attempted a comeback with a fight in the bottom river at 24 minutes, targeting Faker. However, Faker's swift reflexes allowed him to dodge the crucial spell, enabling T1 to counterattack successfully and take a convincing 1-0 lead.

Game 2: Gen.G returns with tight control

Remaining on the blue side, Gen.G built their composition around protecting their ADC, Ruler, and the new champion Yunara. T1 stuck to their proactive style, utilizing a strong team-fighting trio of Rumble, Jarvan IV, and Orianna.

Despite a decent start with a minion advantage, T1 gradually lost control as Gen.G won consecutive skirmishes, creating a 4,000 gold lead. At 21 minutes, Gen.G took down three T1 members in the blue buff area and quickly secured the Rift Herald. By 28 minutes, Ruler freely dealt damage in a team fight, securing three more kills and the Baron buff. With too large a deficit to overcome, Gen.G pushed down the bottom lane, wiping out T1 and destroying their nexus to tie the series 1-1.
